Our Story

1 dream, 4 friends, 24 years in the making.
A restaurant for the ages, one that would stand the test of time, and bring an authentic Italian experience to the city in which it resides.
Buonanotte, this night is for you…
Now all grown up, and 24 years wiser, these same 4 friends have another dream; a dream of a restaurant atmosphere unlike any other.
A dining experience seemingly imported from Italy, these 4 friends have created something that they feel is long overdue…
Buonanotte, buonanotte Montreal,
this little flower is for you…

A second Fiorellino has arrived on Montreal’s famous Laurier street on october 4th, 2018. After 2 years on its De la Gauchetiere address, Fiorellino has opened in the historique laurier bbq location.

The owners wish to re-create the ambience of the legendary laurier bbq. Simplicity of ingredients, sharing dishes are key to italienne cuisine. ‘’We want clients to feel at home, we serve happy food’’ A savoury family experience.

Chef Erik Mandracchia is still behind the oven and serves his re-thought Italian classics. Neopolitain pizza, antipasti, artisinal charcuteries, vegetables, salads, meat, fish and desserts. There is an incredible emphasis on making everything possible - homemade.

Fiorellino, means ‘’little flower’’ in Italian. The design and ambience mirror this.

The designer, J-Guy Chabauty (form moderno) is the designer of this second location. His inspration is Canadiana homes, wood walls, large spaces. The Italian flair that is Fiorellino, remains.
Once again, we find an authentic Acunto wood fire pizza oven from Naples.

The restaurant can serve 98 guests on its first floor and 80 persons on the second floor. The second floor is great for hosting private events or large groups.

The members of the ownership group of Fiorellino (Massimo Lecas, Francis Rodrigue, Angelo Leone, Robbie Pesut) are also behind many other Montreal institutions. Buonanotte, Jellyfish, Porchetta, Giulietta. They each have more than 25 years experience.
